To Don (Piranha) Perata:

The interesting thing about this back stabbing venture is that Senator Denham and Don Perata were friends, bipartisan friends, who have successfully worked together on some important issues including the near-bankrupt Oakland school district, which was Perata’s baby. Perata seems to be one of those friends who only works well with someone who is agreeing with him. Senator Denham didn’t have a vested interest in bailing out Oakland’s School District. It was Senator Denham’s willingness to go above and beyond for a friend. After all isn’t that what friends do?

And he has two to go.

He also doesn't seem to know his age, first saying he's 46, then making the comment, "40 years ago, when I was 8."

Didn't I tell you he's like the Dem version of George W. Bush?

Tom Hanks' Endorsement of Obama

If you want to see one of the most racist, condescending statements that ever was accepted as an "endorsement" of a candidate, go to YouTube and watch Tom Hanks' statement endorsing Obama. I have heard the term "bleeding heart liberal" many times and understood the sentiment behind it, but now I can see it in a new light and in all of its blatancy. I didn't care that some liberals, like Obama, were against the death penalty and supported the criminal element over the law-abiding citizens, but now I see clearly what some on the far left of the Dem party are--truly racist, bleeding heart, condescending elitist hypocrites.

I watched an interesting lecture yesterday afternoon online given by Matt Mason, author of "The Pirates Dilemma." I won't bore you with too much detail, but one of his assertions is the etymology of the word "Yankee," which describes the very heart and soul of this great nation of ours.

He writes:

One of the more outlandish claims I make in the book is that America is a nation founded on piracy. Perhaps the most interesting proof of this lies in the origin of the word Yankee. The most likely source is the Dutch name Janke, which means “little Jan” or “little John,” a nickname that can be traced back to the 1680s, when it was used as a slang term for pirates.

Uh oh, now we have a GLOBAL COOLING crisis!

Recently, supporters of a global cooling theory were boosted with the release of data from all four global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, GISS, UAH, and RSS). All agree that over the past year temperatures have dropped abruptly over the entire earth.

The entire cooling amount ranges from 0.65C to 0.75C . This amount is significant enough to eliminate almost all of the warming recorded over the last 100 years. Most significant is the fact that this cooling occurred over one year. All four tracking outlets confirmed that this is the fastest temperature shift ever recorded, either up or down.

Why can't Obama "unify" all superdelegates?

Even with all the Obama News Networks trying to proclaim him the nominee before all the states have voted, and in an attempt to discourage voters in the remaining contests, Obama STILL can't seem to "unify" all the superdelegates behind him, and Hillary still maintains the lead.

Hillary is ahead in both the superdelegate count, AND the national count. More people have voted for Hillary than for Obama. The Obama far left are trying to steal the nomination from Hillary, and pressure her to drop out, even though she has won the demographics needed to win in Nov.

Well I believe the reason all the superdegelates have not unified behind Obama is because some KNOW he won't win in Nov. Their dilemma is, do they give it to him knowing he won't win in Nov., or do they give it to the one they DO know would win in Nov., Hillary, and risk the name-calling and rioting? That's their choice at this point.

Sun-Spot Q&A with Candidates?

I have taken the initiative to invite the Merced County Board of Supervisor Candidates to our forum to address some of our county-wide concerns... it is my hope that they might hear us out as the "Anonymous" but relevant "Conscience" of the people...

Perhaps we can, for this moment hold ourselves to a reasonable standard of respect and seek out answers to questions that we experience on a daily basis. I would also invite and challenge Sun-Spot Moderator to open and close the forum to take in Questions for a set time and allow potential MC Supervisors an opportunity to answer Qs without the harassment that occurs from time to time…
